My journey in the past 2 years in leatherwork has taught me so much about the different types of leather and their applications.
Some can be used for handbags, belts and notebooks.
Others can only be used for bags as they are softer and not advisable for notebooks if not layered with a harder fabric or backing board.
Leather is a fun, beautiful but unforgiving fabric to work with, but once you understand how to work with it, it becomes the best medium to create long lasting beautiful items.
